Ambassador of Gabon visiting Good Wood Factories
During the visit of the Ambassador of Gabon to the largest and most important factories in the industrial zone of new Damietta, He visited Good Wood factories for latte & plywood with a delegation from the embassy to find out the working methods of wood industries. The Gabonese ambassador expressed his admiration of the factories performance.
The member of the African Cooperation Committee said that the Gabonese ambassador presented 15 of 150 samples of wood we are expected to undertake during a visit by a delegation of Egyptian manufacturers to Gabon on May. The delegation will include Mr. Mohamed Abdel Ghaffar, Abdel Halim Al-Iraqi, members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Timber Industry, and Mahmoud Fouad, Executive Director of the Chamber.
On the possibility of replacing these samples with the types used now in the timber industry, the timber presented by the ambassador to us is very good and the degree of humidity is zero and the wood reaches Egypt dried without any moisture, which may be the door for a boom in the wood industry during the comming period.
